Turn Order

  1. Start of Turn
    • Many effects last until the start of your next turn.
    • This is also when the one Danmaku card per round and one Spell Card per round limit resets.
  2. Incident step
    • If there is no incident in play, draw a new one.
    • Many incidents have effects that trigger during your the incident step.
    • Newly revealed incidents trigger on the turn they come out.
  3. Draw Step
    • By default, players draw 2 cards during their draw step.
  4. Main Step
    • Players may play Action and Item cards during their main step.
    • Players can play any number of cards on their turn, with two exceptions.
    • Players may only play one Danmaku card per round by default, but items such as Power increase this amount.
    • Players may only activate one Spell Card per round. This cannot be increased.
  5. Discard Step
    • During each player’s discard step, all players discard down to their max hand size.
    • By default, a player’s max hand size is 4, but this can change.
    • For instance, the Heroine gets +1 to her max hand size.
