Big Box – Traditional Festival of Paradise
You’re all clamoring for Big Box news so I’ll get right into it. The remaining art is finally all queued, which means we will be moving to Beta and production soon. In Traditional Festival of Paradise you will get *all* of the Danmaku!! content. Let’s go over what that means in case you’ve missed out like Flandre.
For the Main deck, we’ve added all the cards from the expansions and rebalanced the card ratios for more impact. All of your old favorites have returned, with new cards like Anti-Yokai Gohei and Demon Book. I almost forgot to mention: exchanging is now a main game rule and you can exchange for main deck cards.
For the Lunatic deck, we took an “all winners, no duds” approach. Focus and Supernatural Border got direct upgrades, and there’s new crazy cards like Kaname-Ishi and Rod of Remorse.
The incident deck saw upgrades as well. We split existing incidents into Ongoing and Immediate incidents to simplify how they work; and added Major incidents that change your game in dramatic ways.
There’s also new characters never-seen before like Matara Okina. Your next line is “You’ve activated my trap card!”
The all-new Market deck allows you to hire familiar residents of the human village. They don’t come cheap though! Each of these Assist Characters costs more than five points to hire at the market!
So much of this content is already available on the Patreon. In fact we just sent Team 9 an update to the mini-expansion, Flowering Night. This five card expansion uses the exchange mechanics to allow you to act at the end of another player’s turn. Show them how you celebrate their brilliance, or their departure!
